I never thought I would start my own blog, but here I am! So the question stands: "Todd, why did you create this blog?" Well, it's simple.
Ever since I was a child I have wanted to own my own business. Once, when I was in my early teens I tried to convince my family that they ought to pay me to sit in the family owned kiddy pool that I had filled with water from the garden hose. Not one member of my family took me up on the offer. Someday I will write an entry on the business lessons that I learned from that experience, but I mention it tonight to illustrate that my interest in business started at a very young age.
When I turned 17 I got a job at this pizza restaurant called Papa Murphy's Take N Bake Pizza. I still work there today (though I have left at times past to attend college, do missionary work, and explore other career interests) and still have a strong desire to own my own Papa Murphy's.
My main goal in creating this blog is to give me a place to organize my thoughts, create notes, write down ideas, share information, and hopefully learn new things from those who read and post on my blog, and ultimatly bring to fruition my desire to own my own Papa Murphy's restaurant.

Todd--You can do it. I'm starting my own business right now and I've been reading a lot and one thing that I keep coming back to is this: Think big and the cash will come. So far, so good for me. :)
